This model keeps it simple with some nice details and the direct use of color. The leather on the predominantly white upper is slightly crinkled, giving the shoe a subtle, premium feel. Purple is used on the swoosh, laces, lining, collar, heel jumpman logo, ankle Jordan insignia, and the tongue. The purple on the collar is patent leather, which gives the shoe a bit of sheen on an otherwise direct, crispy version of the AJ1.
